  • Product Description

Enjoy freshly brewed Italian style coffee every morning with our ProCook 6 cup stovetop espresso maker. Traditionally popular in Italy and France the aromatic rich coffee characteristic of a stovetop espresso maker is understandably gaining fans here in the UK.

Its unique brewing process allows water added to the lower chamber to percolate up through a middle chamber containing the ground coffee as the water heats up. The water then continues into the top chamber where it collects ready for use.

Made from polished aluminium in the traditional style with the added benefit of a tactile soft touch handle our stovetop espresso maker can be used on any hob type excluding induction.

We recommend washing it by hand and ensuring it is dry before storing.

  • Care Instructions

    Guidelines for using your Stovetop:
To brew fresh espresso style coffee with a distinctly aromatic character, follow these steps:
    • Firstly wash in warm soapy water.
    • Fill the lower chamber with cold fresh water to just below the safety valve.

    • Tip: Use a water filter, particularly in hard water areas, to take out the alkaline in the water which can neutralise acids that give coffee its bright and subtle flavours.

    • Fit the filter funnel into the neck of the lower chamber and fill with fine to medium ground coffee. Do not over pack as the coffee expands during brewing. Ensure that the screw thread of the lower chamber is free from coffee particles.
    • Place on a medium heat source and bring to the boil. Take care if using a gas hob not to burn the handle.
    • Remove from the heat once coffee has filled the upper chamber.
    • Serve immediately.
    • Wash in warm soapy water after use. Dry thoroughly with a cloth. Do not allow to air dry.
